Hi Crochet knitters;


It's been a few weeks since I've had a chance to sit down and write you.  I hope you are out there relaxing with your crocheting and knitting.  We've had a lot of ladies and a lot of fun the last few weeks.  One of the problems we ran into, not realizing that it would make a difference, was crocheting with more than one color.  If you sat your item down and return to add another color, you could be going the wrong direction.  Not knowing which end to add your next color could be a nightmare.  When you added 10 to 12 rows and realize it does not look like the rest, most likely you'll rip it out and redo.  To avoid this nightmare, you would start where you ended working back over your stitches.  The front of the stitch would have a curve not a point, or the curve would be toward your right hand and point toward your left. This of course works well if you are right handed.  (Many of you may have learned that the top of your stitch looks like a V; so using the V concept, the bottom of the V would be pointed toward the left hand and the top of the V pointed to the right hand).

Hi Crochet Knitters;

How are you today?  The ladies and I met yesterday for the Crochet Knitting Angels and it was a great time for all. The ladies completed  4 more blankets for Babys Bounty so now I have about 25 to turn in.

One of the questions asked of me was,  what does it mean when the pattern wants you to turn the rectangle 90 degrees? I asked my husband if he had an answer.  He said, the circumference of a circle is 360 degrees so 90 degrees would be a quarter turn. I have asked  myself if would have been easier for them to have written, "continue down the left side of the work."  What about when your reading a pattern and it reads miss stitch?  What happen to just saying skip next stitch?
